Monday: Today was
good. We had P-Day and we had a good day. me and Elder Gimenez were on
divisiones and we had a cita with A & N. A is a recent convert about a year
but he wants his GF or N to know the gospel and possibly get baptized. We
talked and had a good time. We even put a fecha with her! hopefully we can talk
with her and teach her so we can watch them get married and be great together.
Tuesday: We walked
around and hit citas. we taught R and it
is so difficult and frustrating to see our Amigos not following through on commitments! He can
live with his wife again and all he has to do is pray and read the book of Mormon!!!
We are giving him all the tools and when they don’t even want to pray, its sad
and difficult!
Wednesday: Not much.
we talked with N and she just had all the grandchildren there so we couldn’t
teach her because there was music and kids and it was hard but we talked to get
to know her and we have another cita for her another day. It was cold and
raining so not many people were out.
Thursday: We went out
and we had lunch with A & N. It was good and we taught her a little. She doesn’t
have any religious background so it is good and difficult at the same time. She
is good and really receptive to us. We have Zone conference tomorrow and I can’t
wait!
Friday: Today was
zone conference and it was really good. I liked when president shared with us
John 21:15 and it is the story about when Jesus visited Peter after he was resurrected
and he said "lovest thou me more than these?" and he was asking about
the fish. We changed the fish to be things in our lives that we have put aside
or need to put aside to follow the savior and show our love to him. So this
scripture and relation really hit me because yeah, we all have things to lay
aside for the gospel. We as missionaries leave our families, friends, school,
and everything back home and do it all out of love but the fish can even be the
small stuff like sleep, obedience to the tiny rules and other things and it
makes all the difference.
Saturday: It was the
night session of Stake conference and it was good. We need the members just as
much as they need us and vice versa. We
need to work better together with them because the work is so much more divine
and progresses more when we work with them.
Zone Conference.
Made Burgers for Lunch.
Argentina has a lot of beauty in God's creations.
Saw a Hawk in town one day.
Not sure if Black Friday in Argentina is the Same as Black Friday in America.
